Is there an absence of godly men in churches today?

The significant absence of men in Western churches is a well-documented demographic trend.

Key reasons for male disengagement include:

• Perceived Feminization of Church Culture: Many men view modern church environments as overly focused on emotional expression, comfort, and nurturing, all feminine traits.
• Some men perceive Christian teachings on humility, submission, and introspection as "weak" or contrary to traditional masculine ideals of strength, self-reliance, and honor.
• Lack of Purpose: Men often feel that a lack of meaningful purpose is forgotten in many churches as men struggle to form deep, authentic friendships in church settings compared to women.
• Cultural Narratives: Modern societal views that portray men as redundant or unnecessary have seeped into many churches, causing men to feel their value and importance as meaningless.
• Another reason is the feminization of clergy and congregation has created a spiritual environment that fails to resonate with the masculine identity and leadership among many men.
• Also, we see a lack of men in churches because that many churches are promoting activities more for children than adults.

My hope in writing this article is that God will help us to reach men and to train them to be godly men and train them to be leaders in the home, the church and their communities.

And I know that it is truly God that has to wake up not only men, but women as well. Our modern society has changed in so many ways and people in general don’t see the need of God or church anymore.

And so to help with this tremendously important need, I’m offering a personal Bible study, for men. I am willing to have a one-on-one Bible study with you and teach you some very important Biblical truths that will help you to grow and learn what it means to be a godly man.

I believe God wants to wake people up and He is calling them back to Him.

In the past, we spoke of revival many times. We need a godly revival. And in order to have that, we must come back to God and the Bible. We must do it God’s way.
